Well, if your cooling system is checked out, and is in top condition, it is not losing coolant, and the car temp. is good........and possibly you have done something to it, because it was working before......then, you just might have air in the system. If you have changed any parts and just filled the rad. to the top, you have to burp it. If this is the case, drain some coolant, say about 1/2 to 3/4 of a gallon ( 4 to 6 liters ) run the engine till it gets warm with the rad cap off, wait till the thermostat opens and the coolant circulates, then start to add to fill to the top, when you do this open the heater with the fan blower on, check for hot air at the same time. AND, if this is not the case, then you have a blocked heater core, and if a rad. flush does not do the job, then you might have to change the heater core. Also, did you check to make sure the cable is working properly when you move it to heat, or if you have electronic, check to make sure it is working properly. Hope one of these is your answer. Good luck.
How to remove the heat core housing on a 2001 crown Victoria? I remove the dashboard, can't get heat core housing out.
no it doesnt blow up
Try either lubrication or heat
if it doesn't heat your heater core is most likely clogged and if it doesn't blow at all then the blower is messed up.
clean the heat filters
Try checking your thermostat. It is probably stuck open.
Loose ground wire? Excessive resistance on cooling fan motor?
Thermostat stuck open. Replace.
