My AC belt busted. My AC has other issues and hasn't been used in years. Will it be fine without the belt though?

I believe the only thing that belt was driving is the AC compressor. Check to make sure that the belt wasn't turning anything else. If all it was driving was the compressor, and you don't need to use the ac, you can drive your car without that belt.
