I think it's because its low battery. Or maybe if it is not low battery then you might as well go to the shops where you brought the digital camera so they can fix it for you.

The Olympus C4000 camera is extremely easy to use. To turn it on, you press one button. To take a picture, you press another button, and it automatically saves it.
You need to format your disk, refer to camera manual.

You have to turn your Olympus camera all the way off before you take the memory card out and put a new one in. If you do not, there is the chance that the camera will automatically format the disc. Its probably broken or might need a new battery in it...
Just connect a digital camera to the iMac and turn the camera on. iPhoto will open and import the photos or videos. Be patient it may take awhile the first time you do it.
