As long as the oil had the right rating it'll be OK.
i have a 96 manual and i use full synthetic on mine but you dont have to use full synthetic..if you dont know what is in it right now then i would go for a 50/50 oil(half synthetic and half regular) because you can always go back from there to either regular oil or full synthetic...but once you go full synthetic you can not go back to regular or you will mess up your motor...and you are supposed to use 4 quarts
synthetic to conventional - ok conventional to synthetic - no
Yes, you can. It is even sold as a Synthetic Blend.
Synthetic is 100% synthetic. There are blends sold that are part synthetic & regular oil. Look for a quart that sates FULL or 100% Synthetic. If it says Synthetic Blend then it is not 100% Synthetic.Synthetic is 100% synthetic. There are blends sold that are part synthetic & regular oil. Look for a quart that sates FULL or 100% Synthetic. No. Just as damaging.
It might be... It's highly not recommended to mix regular and synthetic oils.
its the same process as changing synthetic oil, except you use regular oil.
10w-30 either synthetic or regular Castrol for regular or Mobil 1 for synthetic
Synthetic oil or a blend of Synthetic and regular oil is much better for your vehicle than regular oil alone. Synthetic oil is MUCH more expenshive. If you change your regular oil every 3 months or 3,000 miles I will be fine.
Yes but once you do there is no turning back and no mixing regular motor oil ever again with the synthetic oil....only straight synthetic....or use semi synthetic....now that can be mixed with regular motor oil in a pinch.
Yes you can.
