My boss has added more work on me and i can't complete my original work should i be worryed about my job the company is cutting back are they setting me up to fail?

Hard to say, however I'd look at it this way. If the company is cutting back, but the workload of the company remains the same, that means whoever is left, has to do the work of those who are no longer with the company. Also, the more work they give you, the more valuable you become to them. I'm not saying you're in a good position, taking on more responsibility and not getting paid more, but the more you do, the more valuable you become to them.
