Give him something good to wake up to(wink wink) or to fall asleep with! His problem anyways, he needs to do something about it if it is troubling him, you just do what you know is right. Its his subconscious doing this, not you.

when you sleep your brain makes out random decisions and deducts your entire day. If your brain picked up these friends being hostile towards you it is likely that you will have dreams about it. usually I find this is nothing and shouldn't' be a concern to you. Your brain is just trying to figure out what happened during the day and i would advise you carry on as normal and live your life, no matter what comes into your path.
