My boyfriend of 5 years will not talk about getting married or a future with me. I don't understand. But when I ask him if we will ever he says fast and quick that's the plan. Then it's dropped?

Even though he uses the words fast and quick, it doesn't sound like it is going to be anything like that in getting to the wedding. From your question, I gather that you are becoming anxious about when the next step will happen. A relationship needs to satisfy both parties and you need to know, and it isn't fair for him to drop the subject. Set a reasonable date for the decision to be made...and then leave him if he cannot commit to a firm date. If you are still available when he "wakes up," then decide what you want to do. Just because you have 5 years into this, doesn't mean you can't make a turn in another direction.
