My car was parked and someone hit it. They left a telephone number to contact them but I never get an answer. What should I do?

You should contact the police instead and have them search the person with the phone, probably the person is using the phone and the police can track that person down and then you could know where that person lives and go to their house and get the money that person owes you OK! or just stay there in your house like a lump and get nothing for what that person did to your car!!!!!!!!! do what's best for you and the right thing or do nothing at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
