My doctor is gave me a one time pill and vagisil for some irritation and I am on my period now and have a party where we are going to do water balloons so would it be ok to wear a tampon?

If you have a vaginal infection you shouldn't use tampons - use pads, menstrual cups, softcups, etc. instead as they are safer and more hygienic so won't increase infection or irritation. Not sure why water balloons means you would need to use a tampon.
