I'm not sure but you should have a vet check it out it could be a cancer tumor.
It could be a number of things, but only a vet will be able to determine what it is.
You need to take your dog in to see your Veterinarian. This could be serious, like a melanoma or some other type of cancer. Hopefully it is not, but only a Vet will be able to tell you.
is it firm, oozing, painful, how long has it been there, what breed how old is dog
I would say that a collie is better, since a black mouth cur was bred as a multi-purpose dog rather than a herding dog.
Chows Chows do.
It is normal for some dogs to have a black roof to their mouth; it is simply part of their natural colouration. If the black part looks lumpy or is growing oddly then you should take your dog to the vet.
A pug dog has a black mask. If it is an all black pug dog you cannot tell, but on a fawn-colored pug dog you can. The pug has a black marking that goes around its mouth and eyes, which is often called a mask.
Nothing happens. Black tongue's is due to extra pigmentation, like freckles, and does not alter the dog's personality in any way.
black lump
It is not a Rotweiler I believe it is a Beauceron, a French Breed.
A black mouth cur has a black mouth (as the name suggests), and there fur is usually brown, tan, yellow, or mahogany colored. They're medium size, 50-60 pounds, and they have dark brown eyes (as is the case for most dogs).
It depends on what the lump is as to how it can be treated. If the lump is obstructing the dogs ability to eat and/or drink then the Veterinarian will more than likely opt for the lump to be removed. However, if the lump is cancerous then the vet should be able to sit down with the owner of the small dog and go over all of the different treatment options available to save the small dog's life. Therefore, if anyone has a small dog with a lump under their chin. They should consult their Veterinarian and talk with their Veterinarian on which treatment will/may work best.
How can i find out if the pink mole on my dog's foot is ment to be there??????
A soft, non-painful lump in a dog's neck could be a lipoma, or fatty tumor. It can also be a cyst that a veterinarian can drain.
Food is transformed into a small lump called a bolus through the process of chewing and mixing it with saliva in the mouth. The mechanical and chemical breakdown of food in the mouth helps form the bolus, which is then swallowed and passes through the esophagus into the stomach where further digestion occurs.
