My dog scraped his knee pretty badly - will it heal ok if he licks it?

Yes it usually will heal just fine. However keep an eye on it and if it doesnt seem to be getting better you may have to put a collar on him to stop him from licking it. In this case you may be wise to seek some veterinary advice.
my dog did same and it did not heal we had to get him a cone so he could not lick it

∙ 13y agothere is a nutrient in the dogs saliva that helps it. it makes it better unless the dog is chewing at it.
