My dog stares at spots on the ground and wont go near them when there nothing there and flips out in the dark hes only been doing this ofr about 2 days im kind of scared. what should i do?

I would take your dog in to a Veterinarian and have him checked out thoroughly, especially his eye sight. If he checks out ok then you need to get your dog out and socialize him constantly on a leash and choke chain but please do go to the Vet immediately in case it is a health issue such as something wrong with the brain, going blind or many other things.
