the brushes on the motor i suspect are dirty. the samething happened to my girls 2001 voyager. i took it apart cleaned them, and it has worked fine since then
Automatically detect and update drivers and software. Same goes for keeping your drivers up to date. Again, sometimes it will, but sometimes it won't.
Sometimes you have to click on the window before accessing the scrolling feature again. If you move the mouse off the window, and then back onto it again, you will need to do that.
OK, This is my first time posting a question and I thought it was like an email deal..... My 1999 Chevy astro drivers side door window works intermittently. Sometimes it works fine, and sometimes it only works a little at a time. It usually doesn't have a problem going down, but when I go to roll it up, it stalls, and I have to wait (for a minute or so) to hit the button to advance it some more before it quits again. Anyone have an idea on what is causing this? I am having the same problem with my 2000 Astro. The window rolls down fine but occasionally it will not roll up. It seems if I turn off the engine and then restart, then I can get the window to roll up. (Or this is just a coincidence.)
Make sure the window lock button is not engaged on the drivers door. If the button is not engaged then there is a short on the window lock switch. Answer 2:Had to replace the complete drivers door switch assy.I believe rainwater from the driprail falling on the switches is the cause($255.00 from dealer)
The window's motor may be losing power. It helps to hold the window in place as well as move it, but sometimes it can't provide the power to lift the weight of the window back up again. If this is the case, getting the window motors checked and replaced or repaired is the only solution.
spray silicone lubricant on the rails of the window roller upper. clean it first.
Dirty switch contact. Repair or replace
Close the window press the button again as if to close and listen for a click window reset
Sometimes They Come Back... Again was created in 1996.
it is a answer not a question and question to this answer is thatHOW TO MINIMISE AND MAXIMISE A WINDOW?
First, you have to be a resident of Connecticut. After that, you have to start from square one again.
Sometimes with some windows you can pull up on the glass and it will raise a quarter of an inch. Hit the button and the motor will run that much. Do this again until the window is up. If that doesn't work, you can take the door panel off and take the window loose from the regulator. There should be two bolts holding the window to the regulator. Slide the glass up and block it up or tape it.
