You probably have a "throwout bearing" going bad.
Throw out bearing is bad.
If it is a manual trans then it sounds like your not pushing the clutch in all the way. When you dont push the clutch in all the way then you will hear your gears grinding when you go to shift
If you are on a slippery road or just push the brake as hard as you can, that odd grinding feeling is probably your anti-lock brake system. The pedal will feel like it is grinding under your foot, accompanied by a grinding noise. this is a good thing, it means the system is working properly. If you aren't on a slick road or jamming the break, you should see a mechanic immediately.
no !! trust me for girls its the best feeling! when a girl is grinding on a guy and she feels a boner it makes her want you more ;) she start grinding slower and harder. and if it gets occuared just grab her hips while u guys are grinding and push her closer for her to feel the boner
It sounds like the thrust race bearing is about to cack it's self, to repair this involves removing the gearbox ripping out the old thrust race replacing it and putting the box back in. this is simple operation requiring little expense on parts.

To sharpen a reel mower, put grinding compound on the blades. This makes the blades into their own sharpening stones. Push the mower around until it is easy (this is called lapping). Wash off the grinding compound. Make the blades so they go the right way again.
