Pretty vague question - but maybe I can help. I used to battle with this myself because my hair is the same way. It's going to depend on the length of your hair, and how you take care of it.
First, Figure out your curl. Chances are your hair doesn't have just a "half-curl" (I used to think mine did, too) but it has a real curl in there that's just dry, distressed, or waiting to come out. Go pick up the book "Curly Girl - the handbook" by Lorraine Massey ($9.95 US) - it has become my authority on curly hair care, which is VERY different than regular hair care. In no time at all you'll love your locks.
Second, once you have your beautiful head of hair up and running, you can arrange your mane any way you want. Before, I'd have NEVER left it down - without primping, it would just look like a frizzy mess. Some straight pieces, some spiral curls, but just a MESS. Now I feel free to let it free, or pull it back. While there's thousands of styles available to you, they'll all come naturally once you figure out your curl.
