If I were you I would leave some food out around the house. I once lost my hamster behind the dishwasher and managed to coax it out with some Dark Chocolate. This is not advisable however. Its likely it might have got into a crack or hole somewhere so make sure you check every possible place. Good luck, I hope you find it.
not unless you want it to run away..
It's perfectly fine to throw away the nest; your hamster will build a new one!
the best cage for a hamster (if you have a cat) would be a plastic one not a wire cage. but still keep the cage away from your cat as much as you can so the cat doesn't knock it over or something.
Yes! They can o have my hamster In a 860 square inch bin cage and it works great! Just don't house a gerbil in it because the will chew out, but a hamster will be perfectly fine!
I think so because I keep my hamster in the same cage I kept my last hamster in. I dont know for sure so ask a proffesional
yes, it comes in a hamster box until you get to your house and then you should immediately put it in its cage.
get rid of the hamster or buy a cage for it!!
You can't really improve a hamster cage when you have animals that might hurt your hamster in the house. The best cage is the Cage that has all the requirments of a normal cage. If you have animals at home that might hurt your animal, place it in a secure high location that your animal will not reach. For more Information, visit: wwwhamsterownerswebs.webs.com

You can put a ferret in a hamsters cage on a temporary basis as long as it's not being used to house hamster's as the ferret will kill them. A ferrets needs a large size cage made for ferrets.
The best kind of cage you can get for your hamster is a wire cage with a plastic bottom. It is well ventilated and the hamster can climb.
