My hamster is bleeding a lot from its rectum area what can it be?

It could be that it has wet tail. Wet tail is a very often found disease in female long haired hamsters that has just been bought from a pet store. But it could be found in And king of small animal. Some of the signs are wet and damp anal area and bottom, Dull and sunken eyes, hunched back and some times bleeding from anal area. If your hamspter has this than bring it to your local petstore and get some medication for it. The medicine is usaully only about 5.00 dollars. It could be that it is pregnant. A female hamsters bleeds from its vaginal area when it is pregnant. If a female hamster is pregnant and it is in labor DO NOT touch her babies, because the female hamster may eat her babies because she can smell you and will feal unsafe, SO BE CARFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think you should have a licensed veterinarian take a look at it. My hypothesis was that it started its menustration, but I could be wrong.
