How do you get jello out of jello mold?

You can make it easier to get Gelatin out of a mold by coating the mold with a very thin layer of vegetable oil before pouring in the liquid gelatin. You can also put the mold briefly in lukewarm water to loosen the gelatin from the mold.

Does anyone have the recipe for the Christmas tree gelatin mold?

You fill the mold with gelatin. If you are looking to create layers, you simply have to allow them to cool between layers. You have to pour carefully, so the warm jello doesn't create a hole in the layer below it.

What size in inches across do I use if a recipe calls for a 6.5 cup ring mold?

Depends on what you are making. Is it to be baked and will rise or something to be chilled and taken out of the mold? How much are you putting in it? Something chilled, one about 8 inches would probably hold 6.5 level full. That would work for baked if you are only putting 3 cups of batter in it. If in doubt, put 6.5 cups of water in it first and see if it fits. Thanks. The problem is that the pans are sold in inches, but my recipe calls for a 6.5 cup ring mold. It will be baked. I have to buy this pan online, and they are sold by inches, not cups. I guess I will buy an 8" savarin mold and hope for the best!
