There can be a few problems that cause this. When you turn the key on do you hear the fuel pump run which is in the tank? If not there is a fuse and a relay for them under the hood in the power distribution center. If you do hear it running check for spark by remove a wire from a spark plug and placing a screw driver or similar metal object into the end of the wire. while holding it just above a good clean metal surface on the engine, have someone turn it over to see if you can see spark, if not replace the ignition control module for starters. If you have spark and hear the pump run pour a little gas down the air horn, if it starts now you have a weak fuel pump as it takes more fuel pressure to cold start then to run the engine.
