change your fuel filter and check to make sure that nothing is obstructing the gas flow in your gas lines. you will have to drain the gas out of the tank. so have a gas can there to catch the gas. that stuff costs as much as gold these days. ain't that a B !
Spray some ether in the carb. If it fires, it has spark, but not getting fuel. start there.
Any inline fuel filter will work.
You do not clean it, you replace it with a new one.
Some did, others did not.
I have a 2007 cub cadet LT 1046 riding mower. I wish to adjust the low idle fuel mixture, but cant find the adjustment screw. Could you tell me where, and would I have to take off any other components off to get to it? the mower has a Kohler Courage 23 HP Model SV 720S engine. Thanks- Butch.
It is a small electrical thing on the bottom of the carburetor. It will have one or two wires going to it. It shuts the fuel from getting through the carburetor when the key is off.
Check the air filter, fuel filter. Either of these easily blocks on mower.

Probably that it's a carburetted and not a fuel injected engine.
if your rider mower uses petrol/gasoline then you can remove the spark plug after you have tried to start it and if there is fuel getting to the engine the plug will be wet with fuel,if however it is dry then no fuel is present.
either in the fuel tank or on the fuel line, may look like a round plastic thing,
it may not have one. If it does it will be located on the fuel line between the fuel tank and the carburetor.
