My laptop freezes whenever i play the sims 2 double deluxe nightlife and celebration stuff why is this?

It might be because the deluxe nightlife and celebration expansion is taking up too much of the space on the computer and so it has to slow everything down to play that game.
You could stop this by uninstalling it and then installing it onto another computer that is only used for games so it will have a lot of memory on the hard drive.
