My mom smokes cigarettes. i love her. how do i get her to quit smoking she doesnt understand that by smoking shes killing the family. if my mom started at age 14 and shes 40 now when will she pass?

It's a sad fact they it is not possible to "make" a person change.
It is a decision she has to make for herself.
As a Smoker trying to quit, I know this.
I was not "made to decide to stop" I "decided to stop."
I decided to stop because a person I care about more than I can say made a decision:
To leave me.
She did not "tell me to stop" she just left because I would not stop.
So, buy smoke alarms, get emergency escape ladders for you bed rooms. Buy fire extinguishers.
When asked why, say "You smoke MOM, I am worried you might set the house on fire."
