My parents won't give me a cellphone I am almost 13 and we have an enV2 sitting right in our house Can somebody talk sense into them?

You may have an ENV2 sitting in your home, but to program it, and keep it running costs money. every month. Give your parents a break during the recession and dont act like a spoiled bratt. Do you know how lucky you are? Do you know how many children dont have computers or food! your parents most likely have a very good reason for not giving you a cell phone whether you can see the reason or not. Respect your parents. They raised you, feed you, buy you clothes, and give you a place to live FOR FREE! enjoy it while you can. Don't listen to that person. I'm almost 13 and I have the enV2 after a long time of begging for it. You do have to remember the recession, but think about it: why would your parents have an enV2 sitting in your home if they don't plan on giving it to somebody? If you're thinking of reasons to tell them, heres somethat my friend told me when I got mine for Christmas: 1. You can use it to call your friends for studying and schoolwork. (Good reason because parents dig their kids studying) 2. You can use it to call your parents to pick you up from the movies, friends' house, or some other places you tend to hang out at (This is a good reason because then your parents will always know when to pick you up and know where you are at all times) 3. If you forgot to tell your parents something [like staying afterschool or leaving something at home] and you already walked out of the door, you can text or call your parents. (also good because they will always know whats going on). Hope these tips help!
