Yes that is normally the problem with a blockage
If it is full, you can't put more in it, full is full. Flush the toilet, it is going to come up in the shower. == == == == == ==
Yes, -but the tank is filling up and will soon overflow starting at the lowest toilet. Much easier to service or replace your septic pump .
As long as you clean the shower properly and regularly, not particularly, but it is generally frowned upon.
You have a main line blockage and or a full septic tank if you have a septic system. You need to have either your sewer line roto rootered and or your septic tank pumped if on a septic system.
its a locky mckenzie when stinks really gross and bad and he is wet ======================================================== The real answer is, there is a lot of bacteria in our gut, this ends up in the septic tank were it continues to transform our toilet into harmless compost. Our solids are 70% water, the remainder is converted by the bacteria into mainly carbon dioxide and methane gases that disappear into the sky. That is why a septic that is only used for our toilet waste will take 20 to 30 years to fill to the halfway mark, when it must be emptied.
Because the two pipes are connected, and the shower is farther down the line than the toilet. So when you flush, you are hearing the water from the toilet pass by your tub. This is also why you will have sewage in your tub if your waste water line is extremely backed up.
My cats play with toilet paper. They scratch it, unroll it and roll in it. I can't get them to stop, but they don't eat it. You have a strange CAT. Septic Safe toilet paper is recycled paper with no chemicals. Should be safe to eat as long as it hasn't been used in the toilet or septic tank.
If the toilet and shower are in an upper floor then there is a PVC drain for both that will drain to either the sewer or septic. If there is a vertical piece to this, as there is in my basement, then you actually get some dribbling and running sounds from the water 'falling' down that vertical PVC. I get this same noise from the washing machine on the main floor draining down to the basement.
That would depend on how far it was to the septic tank.
wrong stuff placed in the toilet
Don't flush the toilet while someone is taking a shower. your septic tank may need pumping off if you have one..if you have city sewage sounds like the drainage line is stopped up so the water comes in the tub before it can exit the clogged drain..hope this helps..
Proper monthly maintenance of your Septic tank is necessary to keep it in proper working order. There are several products that are available. Rid-X, Bio tabs, and Flush-It are the leading brands. All you have to do is flush them down the toilet each month to keep your septic tank working properly.
