My sister is 10 and she got her period and she is going to 5th grade but she is really short why might she have gotten here period at a young age?

Sometimes getting your period starts the growth process. You could be 5 ft and get your period..then A year later be 5'5'' For some people it means the end of growth and for some ...the begining.

Does getting your period really cause weight loss?
It may look like you have lost weight, and you may have, because you have gotten much taller from going through puberty. If anything you have gained weight because at the start of your period it makes your boobs get bigger, because getting your period means you are almost done going through puberty. It really just depends on your metabolism and how quickly you lose it, because after you start menstruating you may have to start watching what you eat.
I don't know whether or not i am fertile i have never menstruated before am not athletic nor to thin nor am i obese i DON'T plan on going for tests what should i do is this normal please help?
If you're only worried because you haven't gotten your period then it depends on how old you are. Most girls start their period between the ages of 9 and 16. If you're older, then I would recommend going to a doctor and talking to them about it. There are teens who've gotten pregnant even though they havent gotten their periods. But if you're older than 16 and havent gotten it that could be a possibility, albeit rare. You really need to go to your doctor about it if you want an accurate for sure answer.
