My whole family is going on vacation and we all have round trip tickets but I think my visa might be late so is it possible if I take different one way flight but return on my round trip flight?

You have not said where you are form or where you are going.

However, you will not be able to travel to most countries WITHOUT a valid visa. So if your visa has not arrived you will not be able to travel with the rest of your family.

Depending on the type of air ticket you have purchased you may be able to alter your departure date but if not, you will have to purchase a new ticket to your destination for a later date.

Your return portion of your ticket original ticket should be valid to use even if you do not use the outbound portion. Immigration authorities are usually only concerned that tourists do have a valid return ticket and you should keep both portions of your ticket with you when entering the country of your destination to show immigration if required.
