The window motors could be losing power in the 95 Century. Check the wiring and switches for any loose connections causing the problem.
I had the same question and found this in the online owners manual. http://www.extendedgmwarranty.com/owners-manual/buick/2001-Buick-Century.pdf
I do not believe there is a way.
MY car is a 2000 LS Buick Regal the back windows won't work but, the front one still work. Can you tell me how to fix them
Open hood . Lean over, Look down for fan blades. The radiator is in between you and those fans. Look fer it. There is a filler cap on the left top of the radiator. Check the water while you are at it.
Check the window relay for the back windows of the Le Sabre. Check the wiring for the system as well.
Either your window switches are bad or the motors are. The same exact thing happened on my 92 and I just finished fixing it. There are separate ground wires between the front and rear windows. Your ground is probably bad, mine had actually broken in half in the rubber boot in between the door and the body of the car.
The rev limiter would have cut in
you can find it down the dasshb next to the gas pedal. Good Luck simplementegrandioso
you left the windows down while it was raining
When only the back windows are down, they make a thumping sound because of the air tightness of the car's cabin. Roll down a front window slightly and this will go away.
I also have a 92. In my case, it was a clip located on the window itself. I was told I would have to replace the entire window in order to rectify.
Replace window regulator.
