There is no one answer to this, but usually it's because the annoying and horrible guys are, well his FRIENDS. If he believes them when they say you cheated on him, it's up to you to tell him otherwise.

The public should be concerned about animal testing because the more animals they use the more likely that type of animal will become extinct. This could ruin the environment and effect the way humans live. Some times they steal pets from their homes for testing which really effects the public. And just because a product doesn't harm a rat doesn't mean it doesn't harm a human. Rats and humans are in no way the same.
