(Genesis 6:4) ". . .The Nephilim were on the earth in those days-and also afterward-when the sons of God went to the daughters of the human beings and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown" TNIV

Answer:

There was no such perverse union as some men teach this passage.

Angels are "sexless."

Speaking of the resurrection and man's birth into God's Family, Jesus says: "...in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but ARE AS THE ANGELS OF GOD in heaven." (Matt.22:30)

"...The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: but they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the Children of God..." (Luke 20:34-36).

According to The Bible... angels are sexless "spirit beings" who do not marry nor reproduce.

God made the flesh and blood man and woman from the clay of the earth, and made them male and female.

Not angels. "...Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" (Heb.1:14)

The cited passage of the alleged "union of angels and humans" is contradictory to what Jesus, the Creator God of the Old Testament [John 1:3], says.

The "sons of God" mentioned in the passage could not have been "angels," as stated above... but were merely nephilim; bullies, warriors, influential "men" with charismatic personalities, like Nimrod, who emerged from among the people as leaders and rulers. Generally, to the praise and worship of the people... setting them above God, just as people do today and have always done.

These "sons of God" who came unto the daughters of men were... MEN!

"...Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was THE SON OF GOD." (Luke 3:38)

God said: "...My Spirit shall not always strive with MAN..." (Gen.6:3)... not ANGELS.
