It takes a little while to do. You just can't take out a couple of screws. You need to take out some Wheel Well screws, Bumper screws etc. It is a very poor design on Chevys part. If you go to the Chevy Avalanche Fan Club Website, it has step by step instructions. Just use the search function. It worked for me. Just took a little time to do. I know the dealers tend to charge 75-100+ to change them.
