One thought:
Those termed the 'major' prophets from the Hebrew scriptures are generally:
Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel. The so-called 'minor' prophets are Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi.
Another thought:
Various Christian traditions classify a subsection of the Old Testament as the "Major Prophets".
Protestants include five books: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, and Daniel.
Roman Catholics add the deuterocanonical book of Baruch. Eastern Orthodox tradition includes Baruch, but separates what Catholics consider the final chapter of Baruch into its own book, Letter of Jeremiah.
Jewish tradition does not use the term Major Prophets in this way.
The five major prophets in The Bible are Samuel, Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Nehemiah.
Samuel, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Daniel.
The major prophets are Samuel, Isaiah, Daniel, Jeremiah and Ezekiel.
Here are all twelve in order:
Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi.
Major prophets refers to the length of the book, not importance. The five major prophets in the Bible are Nehemiah, Samuel, Daniel, Isaiah, and Jeremiah.

All the prophets in the bible were all spiritual, if they were not they won't prophesy, becos God honours the word of a prophet.
The difference between "major" prophets and "minor" prophets is, basically, the length of the books attributed to or about them.
The lives of Elijah and Elisha are written in the books of 1 and 2 Kings. The major prophets is a classification of those prophets that wrote books in the Bible namely Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel. The Minor Prophets or Twelve Prophets are the names of prophets described in the last book of the Nevi'im, the second main division of the Jewish Tanakh. This book was broken each into separate books by the name of the Prophet in the Christian Old Testament. For this reason Elijah and Elisha are neither "major" prophets or "minor" prophets, which refer to the length of the books by the prophets name not the importance of the prophet or its message.
"Minor" in this case refers to the length of their books, it has nothing to do with their importance. In fact, it doesn't actually refer to the prophet (the person) but to the prophetic book that bears their name. In the Hebrew Bible there were twelve smaller books bundled as one called the "Twelve". The Christian Bible presents these twelve as separate books and calls them the "Minor Prophets". The longer prophetic books of the Old Testament are called "Major Prophets" and are considerably more lengthy writings. The concept of major and minor prophets is Christian and is not a concept used by Jews.
There are none - the only people in the Bible with a name starting with eph are Ephah, Ephron, Epher, and Ephraim but none of them were prophets.
The name of the books in the bible are named after prophets, deciples, kings and people like Paul and his workers .

Not sure especially that the explicit mentioned names are different from one Bible to another.More information:No. Many other names are mentioned in the Bible in addition to the names of prophets. One more informationIn Quran, Muslims holy book, 25 prophets are mentioned by name although said in Quran that many other prophets are there but not mentioned by name in Quran. refer to related question below for the names of those 25 prophets.
The classification of "Major" or "Minor Prophets" refers to the length of the book by that prophet's name, so in strict terms prophets (the people) aren't classified as "major" or "minor". This classification is used with prophetic books in the Old Testament. The books designated as "The Major Prophets" are Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, and Daniel. Note that both the Book of Jeremiah and the book Lamentations are ascribed to the prophet Jeremiah. In versions of the Bible where the Book of Baruch is included, it is grouped with the Major Prophets. The twelve shorter books collectively referred to as the "Minor Prophets" are the books Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah. Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi.
The classification of "Major" or "Minor Prophets" refers to the length of the book by that prophet's name, so in strict terms prophets (the people) aren't classified as "major" or "minor". This classification is used with prophetic books in the Old Testament. There are twelve shorter books collectively referred to as the "Minor Prophets" and the remaining prophetic books in the Old Testament are considerably longer in length and referred to as "Major Prophets".
