Additional Information
At common law, real property in the United States could not be inherited by a foreign beneficiary. Although I am not an expert in this area of law I can offer the following information.
The common law barriers have been repealed in some states and modified by statute in others. Many states have enacted alien inheritance statutes. The California code was the prototype of the reciprocal rights restriction. Under that provision the right of an alien beneficiary to inherit real or personal property depends upon the existence of a similar provision in the respective country where the alien beneficiary resides.
The issue of applying state law on distribution to alien heirs has been addressed by the Supreme Court in Zschernig v. Miller where the Court held an Oregon statute that required reciprocity to be unconstitutional.
Generally, the matter of distribution of estates to foreign beneficiaries comes under the provisions of state law. You should contact the probate court that has jurisdiction over the estate to determine if the estate was settled. If the decedent died intestate you should consult with an attorney in that jurisdiction to determine your rights under that state's laws.
LOL - that would be because so many people try to get rid of other people with it and claim their inheritance early. Too bad it's so easy to detect!
Inheritance refers to the concept by which the features from one class can be extended/made available in other classes. Java supports 3 forms of inheritance * Single Inheritance * Multiple Inheritance * Multilevel Inheritance (Can be implemented using interfaces)
Types of dominance, multiple alleles, sex linked inheritance, polygenic inheritance and maternal inheritance.

In order to go about claiming your inheritance from your grandmother, you will need to file a document in the court stating your entitlement to the inheritance. The claim must be endorsed by the court and sent to the administrator of the estate.
You can contest the will if there is one. You will need to consult a probate attorney for your options in your jurisdiction.

A lien can be placed on an inheritance for child support arrears. If the custodial parent knows of your pending inheritance a claim can be filed in the estate and the executor must pay it out of your inheritance.
An inheritance is paid as soon as the estate has been settled. If you inherited as a minor and the money was put in trust for you, you can claim it at age eighteen.
If it is a debt, you file the claim with the executor. Otherwise you should receive your inheritance when the estate is resolved.

There are other ways to acquire an interest in real estate such as inheritance. The title to the property would need to be examined by a professional.
