Wisdom tooth extraction requires an oral surgeon when the wisdom tooth is compacted, or when the area around the tooth is infected.

to get a tooth extracted with minimal pain you need to go to your dentist and get it removed surgically
If a tooth is knocked out, you should push it back into its socket as soon as possible. It depends on the nature of the trauma, the intensity of the trauma and the type of damage that is done. If a tooth is fractured , it does not mean that it has to be removed. IF A tooth becomes discolored soon it need not be removed. If it becomes loose it need not necessarily be lost. HAVING SAID that , it should also be noted that the best remedial measures too need not meet with success in retaining a traumatised tooth,

One of the biggest pieces of missing information here is if it is a "baby tooth" or an "adult tooth." If it is a baby tooth, give it a day or two. It will probably come out on its own. If it doesn't, and it continues to be sore, you may need to take the child to the dentist to make sure there are no complications. If it is an adult tooth, you need to go to the dentist for sure. The roots are either deteriorated or broken. There is likely an infection going on. It will need to be repaired or removed. Antibiotics will be needed for sure.
