This is Newton's first law of motion.

'Every body persists in its state of being at rest or of moving uniformly straight forward, except insofar as it is compelled to change its state by force impressed', or 'The velocity of a body remains constant unless the body is acted upon by an external force.'

That would be Newton's First Law of Motion.

The simplest way to describe this law is that, barring some force being applied upon it, an object that is standing still will remain still and an object that is moving in a certain direction at a certain speed will continue to move in the same direction and speed.

Newton's First Law and Second Law F=ma ; 0 = ma means acceleration is zero and thus no change in velocity or the object will continue to move with the same velocity.

The first law, when an object is in motion, it remains in motion until an unbalanced force acts on it. Same for an object at rest. The law of inertia.

The first one. Although the second one also implies it.

An object that is moving at constant velocity and continues at that velocity unless a net force acts on it illustrates?

That things tend to stay in motion.

Moving at constant velocity is also moving with constant speed?

Velocity is Speed in a given direction. Moving at constant velocity is equivalent to say moving with a constant speed in a specified direction. So, moving at constant velocity implicitly means moving with constant speed.

What are diifferent word for object?

a "body" "moving body" an "object" is moving with constant velocity. [OR] a "body" is moving with constant velocity.

If a car moves at constant speed also moving at constant velocity give an example?

A car moving at constant speed in a straight line is also moving at constant velocity.

What does mean the velocity remains constant?

there is no acceleration if the body is moving with constant velocity

What happens when no force acts on an object?

Nothing changes. When no force acts on an object moving with constant velocity, the body continues its motion with uniform velocity, or if the object is at rest, it will remain at rest.

What is difference between an object moving with uniform acceleration and an object moving with a constant velocity?

A motion with a constant speed will always be moving the same speed A motion with a constant acceleration will constantly be gaining speed, and does not remain moving at the same speed.

If an object is moving away from you and left alone what happens?

If an object is moving away from you and there are no forces acting on it,then it continues moving in a straight line at constant speed.

What do baoanced forces do to moving objects?

When all forces are balanced, the object can either be moving at a constant velocity or be at rest. But because you asked for balanced forces on a moving object, it is moving at a constant velocity.

If A car moves at constant speed also moving at constant velocity?

Not necessarily. Constant velocity also means no change in direction.

Can an object have a constant speed and velocity at the same time?

Yes. An object moving in a straight line at constant speed has constant velocity.

Is the velocity of a horizontal moving object constant?

Only if the direction is constant and the speed is constant.
