probably a rust brake line i am having the same trouble and one of the steel lines is busted
Yes, you need to seriously change your brakes. You do not have any brake fluid in your car because your need brakes badly. If you don't take the car in and the back brakes are bad, it's going to cost a lot of money to repair them.
Open brake fluid reservoir for the brakes - make sure it is full of brake fluid - put lid back on reservoir then pump the brakes then hold the brakes on - have someone open the bleed screw on the brakes and let the air and oil out and close it again quickly and repeat until the air bubbles stop in the brake fluid, also checking to make sure you do not run out of brake fluid before you finish bleeding the brakes.
leaky brake cylinders, leaky brake lines
check fluid level
The brake caliber is sticking if it has rear disc brakes. The rear wheel cylinder is sticking if it has rear drum brakes. Replace both rear units and then drain all the old brake fluid out of the system and replace it with fresh fluid. Bleed the brake system.
yes , 1 chamber is for the front brakes and the other chamber is for the back brakes
The brake cylinder connects to both front and rear brake systems. The front and rear brakes are connected though a diagonal fluid distribution system. any more questions email me at philip.dharamraj@hotmail.com
Check your owner's manual, but newer cars can also illuminate the brake light if the fluid in the master brake cylinder is too low. This may have happened if the brakes were bled but not filled, or if the caliper was pushed back in, but fluid was lost in overflow, etc.
I hope you take it to a garage and have the brakes inspected. Might be a brake fluid leak.
hydraulic brakes work on hydraulic fluid the system is filled with fluid, all air is bled out of the system so only fluid remains thru valves and other components the fluid is displaced when when the breake pedal is pressed on each wheel at the brakes are some moving parts ,on drum brakes these are brake shoes and cylanders on disk brakes these are brake pads and calipers when the fluid is displaced thru use of the pedal these parts are pushed out by the fluid that ahas no where else forcing the pads or shoes against the brake disk or drum when pedal is released the fluid goes back to reservoir releasing pressure on parts at wheel which releases brakes
it is possible that your brake hoses are bad and soft not letting the brake fluid back out of your calipers
It means there is brake problem somewhere, maybe the back brakes.
