If that person has done something that hurts you deep down in your heart or soul then yes. Yes it's fine to hate Satan and all his doings. No,it is NEVER OK to hate a person.Humans are created in the image of God,even if they choose to live as if they aren't.This can be a very difficult thing,but medical science has documented well the mental and physical effects of hanging on to hatred and bitterness.The statement 'hate the sin ,love the sinner' is a bit of a cliche now ,but it's truth holds good. In Matthew 5:44-'...Love your enemies,bless them that curse you,do good to them that hate you,and pray for them that despitefully use you,and persecute you.'That doesn't mean you have to go out and cover them in kisses or suchlike,but you put their behavior in God's perspective and leave it up to Him. It may not seem possible to do so,but people have learned not to hate when the most terrible crimes have been committed against them.If God tells us it's wrong to hate,then He also gives us ways to carry that out. Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and "Hate not" his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Jesus' word's here do not give us free license to disregard the overwhelming theme of the New Testament.The subject here is discipleship & counting the cost of following Jesus.He's saying,in modern parlance,that it's crunch- time!If it comes to it,you may have to give up all in order to follow him-it is a way of comparing by using extremes for emphasis.
The Greek word used here for hate - miseo- has three shades of meaning.One is hate as unjustifiable aversion,another is a feeling of aversion towards things that are wrong,and the third is as a way of demonstrating a strong preference for one thing over another.The way to pin down which one applies in any situation is to fit it into the passage as a whole,and the predominant teachings in the rest of the New Testament.
So,is it OK to hate?Nothing here tells us so.Many hateful things have been done by supposed Christians over time,but they are clearly out of line with Bible teaching on the subject.And that is the best measure of what is right.

Note that the verses above do notindicate, in context, that it is OK to hate or make war. They simply say that fighting is inevitable, because this world is pitted against God.
