A couple of tips if you don't want to get wasted.... drink water between drinks, do not mix liquor with beer (also try not to drink both dark and clear liquors; pick one type and stick with it), eat carbs before you start drinking, and don't stay seated the whole time you're drinking. PS: a liquor store manager once gave me the tip that if you drink melted butter before you drink, it will line your stomach and heighten your tolerance. Ive never tried it though, so i can't vouch for it. good luck!
