No oil pressure 1997 buick park avenue ultra with solid oil light on with high miles and reg oil changes?

Unplug and Unscrew the electrical oil pressure switch(it should be above the oil filter). Screw a short nipple into the hole. Then insert a "T" fitting onto the short nipple. Screw an oil pressure tester into the "T". Then install the electrical pressure sensor into the other hole on the "T" fitting. Then compair the pressure tester guage and the guage on the dash, to see if it is correct. Maybe a bad pressure sender, or a bad dash guage. Research cant find what pressure should be, at different RPM's. so if anyone knows the proper pressure please add to the post
