The everglades have not been drained.
My 04 Reg Golf TDI MKIV has had this intermittent problem. I have found that the engine oil appears to have been overfilled. Drained some off and put oil to correct level on dipstick and the engine management light went out after a short drive. handbook staes oil level is critical. I drained off over half a litre to get oil to correct level. Obviously Overfilled when it was serviced! pjpn@btintenet.com Reddtich
Yes, it is really not a good idea.
dead cell in the battery or something is on that is pulling power from the battery.
Umm, you pour it into the radiator. You know, the place that you drained it from.....
IT may have just been a seal, but still that's not good. Check aroud the rear main seal. Or just take it to a shop.
Barak Obama has promised not to smoke while in the White House. So far there has been no offical word on how successful he has been in quitting. Presumably no news is good news?
To be damaged by smoke you need to actually inhale the smoke, so it there is smoke still lingering in the air of the house or car then YES. If however the smoke has cleared entirely then NO.
Sorry to say,but no. The alternator is the device that replaces the power that has been used from your battery.Without the alternator, the battery will get drained and not be able to recharge.
Drain the crankcase completely empty, and re-fill with the proper amount of oil. You give no information on how long, or if, the engine was driven in this condition, but if it was for very long there is the possiblity that the oil seals may have been 'blown.' There is no way of telling this until you have drained and re-filled the engine and operated the vehicle for awhile.
Transmission overfilled ? so when the transmission fluid is heated up it expands and comes out the vent tube Have you been driving through water ? Got water in transmission so its overfilled , resulting in transmission fluid coming out of vent tube
For the same reason they were still in force in Britain - shortages that would continue for some time. The end of the war did not mean that everything was suddenly in full supply and the finances to replace them had been drained by the war
