According to the 2002 Lincoln Town Car Owner Guide : With engine oil filter change : ( 4.7 liters / 5.0 U.S. quarts of 5W-20 )
In a 1991 Lincoln Town Car, the oil pump is located inside the oil pan, which is situated at the bottom of the engine block. To access the oil pump, you typically need to remove the oil pan, as the pump is mounted on the front of the engine and driven by the crankshaft. This design is common in many vehicles with a V8 engine configuration.
On a 1991 Lincoln Town Car , 302 cubic inch V8 engine : The engine oil pump is INSIDE the engine oil pan bolted to the bottom of the engine block
the engine has to be raised from the chassie then take the oil pan off, and the oil pump is on the left side of the block i think there is two or three bolts to remove the pump.
The PCV valve on a 2002 Lincoln Town Car is located on top of the engine in the left valve cover. It prevents oil from being sucked into the engine as air is circulated.
YOU ONLY HAVE TO REMOVE THE OIL PAN.
