Ok so you lost your keys to your 99 dodge durango you had your uncle break into it so you could get the manual book and get the key code for some new keys how do you override the factory alarm?

somtime if you unlock the passenger side door with a working key it will shut down the alarm it works on a Cherokee i know never tryed on a durango good luck.

Obtain a new key/fob from the dealer. Disarming all of this seems to be counterproductive since most of it prevents theft of the entire truck. Losing the fob is small stuff comparatively.
