On Nintendo Wii can you get your Mii's on the Mii channel play games and how?

You can on a few games, like Mario Kart. Theirs usually a button at the top orbottom. Most games don't let you use a mii.

This will allow you to play as any of your Miis. Don't delete your Miis from the Mii Channel or your Mii will be deleted from Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games.
