On Pokemon diamond you tried to get mesprit but then it flew off what do you do?

I have no idea as to what a mespirt is, but if it is rare, try tracking it with your map. If it isn't rare, then there should be some in the nearby tall grass/bushes. Xalainu's answer This had happened to me once, and I remember exactly what to do. You always have to keep following it. If it is staying in the same place, it should be doing this thing where I call "winking" if you finally catch up to it. Once you catch up to it, look around for it in the grass. Don't forget to keep your volume on; you WILL need it on to determine if it's Mesprit or not. If it's a strange, kind of music (the kind when it gets softer, then just a little louder, that means it's Mesprit). The one thing I strongly suggest for you to do is to get Master Balls for the Mesprit. When I tried to catch it myself with Ultra Balls and nest balls, it easily comes out, so it's REALLY hard to catch (I ended up killing the one I wanted to catch when I weakened it...) unless if you have master balls. just remember to SAVE THE MASTER BALLS FOR RARE/LEGENDARY POKEMON.

if the Pokemon was mesprit, you need to chase him. on the pokewatch click the things until you find the map. there will be an icon that looks like a bear's face. follow the face. mesprit will be in the grass
