Jin's ending shows that he won the tournament, however scenario campaign's ending shows that he died trying to save the world. I don't know what you all believe but i believe Jin's tekken 6 ending. Jin actually died in Tekken 6. He tried to save the world and he saved lars from Azazel.

Lars is in Tekken 6 console version, and Tekken 6 BR arcade version. The only one which Lars doesn't appear in is the Tekken 6 arcade version.
