It's always safest to assume that she means exactly what she says... that you are sweet. Sweet is okay, but it doesn't necessarily mean that she reciprocates your feeling that a relationship is desirable. To actually find out what a girl is thinking, you have to really talk to her... and if she avoids the conversation, she probably doesn't like you. She is trying to spare your feelings.
