There are actually 3 possibilities for an 1859 dollar: No mint mark = Phila, O = New Orleans, S = San Francisco.

1859-O is the most common, with values ranging from $210 in worn condition to $470 if almost uncirculated. Philadelphia is next, with a range of $280 to $600. S-mint coins retail for $360 to $2000
