You need heat and air tools! Use an Acetylene torch to heat the manifold cherry red where the studs are one at a time and use your impact tool to back out the stud. If you don't heat the metal surrounding the stud enough, the stud will snap off. Be prepared to replace the studs. also make sure the area you heat is greese free and have a water sprayer on hand to put out…

Actually when steam condenses it is loosing heat. As steam rises it cools and falls back down with gravity. I.E. a steam boiler heat system Boils water to till it turns into a gaseous mixture of water droplets and rises to a radiator to heat. The exhaust system will need to be changed, and the small block radiator might not be big enough to handle the extra heat made by a big block when…
Back in the 60's through the early 80's 350 truck engines had a 4-bolt main engine in them. Most of the truck engines had a low end torque camshaft in them too. The truck engine even had better rods in them…

An APU, Auxiliary Power Unit, is used on a truck primarily for driver comfort. In order to meet EPA diesel emission requirements truck operators can no longer idle their truck engine while they are stopped for extended periods of time. An APU can provide heat, air conditioning and electricity for hotel loads such as microwaves, televisions and block heaters. An APU will consume less fuel ( about 1/10th) than that of the truck engine. An…
More likely than not you have a blown head gasket or cracked head or both, especially if the engine has overheated in the past. STOP driving the truck until you can get this repaired. Serious engine damage will occur if you continue to drive this truck. Check the oil level. If it is over-full or you see a gray foam you definitely have the problem described above.
