Look for the rocker switch on the center console that says P and N. Flip it to the N position for Normal operation. P is for Power operation which lowers the shift points of your transmission.
There is a green "POWER" light that comes on this 2004 Chevy Tracker. The light simi circular in the lower right corner of dash. There is no mention of any kind of power light in the owners mannual. The local chevy service dept. has no idea?? Can you help me?

HI, The "Power" light means that the power mode switch and been presed to have more power available, to turn the light off just press the switch to return it to "Normal". Steve H.

It is not a "warning" light but an indicator that you have pressed the button near the shifter to put the tranny into tow mode.
it means the internal rubberband needs to be rewound. It means you have accidently hit the power button by the gear shift. Simply switch back to normal (N) and the light will go out.
