About 60 to 65 years. If they are lucky they might live 70 years. The reason that their life span is so short is because the tobacco in the cigarette and other chemicals in the cigarette damage your lungs, brain, and heart. Smoking can also lead to cancer.

this is a difficult question, many things taken into account can affect peoples lives,

smoking does not make you live any longer and it does take time off your life but one can not tell how they are going to die, you could never smoke a day in you life and get hit but a bus at 30 where as your brother who's smoked since 14 lived to 90.

I believe that you can not make a statement to the effect of saying non smokers live longer than smokers because there are too many variables that an effect life

smokers are introduced to more health issues (caused from smoking alone) than nonsmokers which can have a negative effect

How many fewer years are smokers expected to live?

On average, smokers are expected to live 10 years less than non-smokers. This estimate is based on research that has found a strong link between smoking and various health conditions, including lung cancer, heart disease, stroke, and respiratory diseases. Smoking can significantly increase the risk of developing these diseases, leading to a shorter lifespan.
