On my 98 GS 300 Lexus the lights on the dash board are out. How do you replace engine compartment fuse if the one's inside the car are not blown?

your engine compartment does not have any fuses in it to control the panel lites if its not the fuse it might be the headlamp switch,or power to it

Then all the fuses in the engine compartment. I would also check the fuse link from the battery to the inside fuse box. It looks like a wire but its not. If it feels mushey instead of stiff its bad. Check a few automotive sites online and you should be able to see a picture of a fuse link for your car. Like www.autozone.com If the stuff mentioned do work then the starter is probably bad. Or the starter relay.
